SUMMARY: Provides Respiratory Therapy in the homecare setting. We are looking to fill both full time and part time positions.

As Respiratory Therapists working in the durable medical equipment field, we are using our clinical expertise in diverse ways!
At PALLADIA HEALTH, Respiratory Therapists put their clinical skills to use by working with our patients and referrals in order to support their CARE needs at home or transition to home following their hospital stay. This includes ventilator setups and training of caregivers at home, cpap and bipap therapy, portable oxygen systems for mobility, cough assist, suction and more. We provide equipment management and patient/caregiver training only-
At PALLADIA, We follow all CDC and state of California COVID-19 health protocols. All clients and employees are required to wear N95 masks. All employees must be fully vaccinated (including booster). COVID19 Policies and Procedure Agreement to be signed on hiring date. Thorough and detailed sanitization for treatment rooms and equipment is enforced.
With COVID -19 guidelines in place, we are able to utilize remote access to our patients for data and patient follow up as well as the latest telehealth technology as one of our means of equipment set up.
Our main office is located in NOVATO, CA and we service patients throughout the Bay Area
We offer flexible work hours Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm as well as competitive compensation, health benefits, including a 401K- in addition to a signing bonus !
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Insures orders meet insurance guidelines; Medicare, Medi-Cal and other contracted payers associated with PALLADIA HEALTH.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of respiratory care, pulmonary management and specialized functions.
- Effectively renders quality care in accordance with approved facility standards of care, policies and procedures.
- Makes appropriate clinical decisions regarding therapies provided, patient assessments, interventions and identifying patient needs.
- Documents accurately and completely and timely on all notes, assessments, plan of care, communication, discharge summaries, routes sheets, time sheets and logs.
- Provides educational in-services to staff members, physicians, nursing and other customers as required.
- Attend company and departmental in-services/meetings.
- Complies with all PALLADIA HEALTH company policies, procedures, safety regulations and guidelines.
- Complies with on-call, weekend and holiday coverage per facility policy.
- Participates in ongoing education and training.
- Addresses all of the compliance issues as they pertain to PALLADIA HEALTH, FDA and the State Board of Pharmacy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. One to two years of acute care experience, and at least 1 year of experience in a home care environment and or the equivalent of education or experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
Active RCP, CPR, and valid Driver’s license
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing and system software. Knowledge of Brightree is a plus.
